you spotted it, you walked away lesson learnt with just a bit of time and effort lost.

In this day in age of b/band etc, if travelling long distances, i would be asking for at least 10 pictures of the car, if the dealer wont do it, then dont bother, Simples.

I had 17 pictures of the car, but they'd been taken at very clever angles

As you say, luckily all it was was a wasted afternoon and a bit of petrol. On the plus side I found some very enjoyable b roads to play on whilst coming home

I'm in no rush to swap cars so i'll quite happily bide my time until the right one comes up....that definitely wasn't it

and 99% have saved me the trouble you went to by viewing on the way home as they were local

  I did check out the forum map but the closest person was Darlington which is 25 miles away, i'll wack up posts in future though
