Hello all,

I have been visiting the forum for a long time now and owe you some thanks!  You have kept me sane whilst waiting for my car to arrive!

Golf GTD ordered November 6th and it's finally here and I am picking it up Wednesday!

It's a 3 door GTD in carbon grey with DSG, spec'd with RNS510 Dynaudio and sensors, I cannot wait!

Is there anything I should look for when I pick it up?

Thanks

Colin

don't  worry I will post some pics when I get it!

I get it tomorrow !

I literally cannot wait, not sure if I will be able to sleep tonight!

Im not super trusting of the VW guys, and you lot seem to know what you are on about!
Does the car need running in (the internet isn't being very consistent with its answer), if yes what is the best way to go about this?

Cheers

Some sites say drive it like its stolen and others say go softly softly.
Personally I wouldn't give it full revs until it had reached 1000 miles

If you plan to keep the car a long time and dont want any future problems, try to run in on the MW miles is best 70mph of course
