To be honest I've done it a few times in the daily.  It said 0 miles remaining when I was on a motorway once and did another 20.  Got into a town and it went it to some funky eco mode.. no turbo and a 2k rev limit.. thought that was pretty clever and got me to a station... worst was in a pug hire car, it lied! said I had 20 miles left on the motorway, so eased off loads, services in 10, 2 miles later the screen said 0 miles, 1 miles after that it died!.

The fuel light on the RS comes on @ 30 miles to empty but I never let it get that low, always try and keep 1/2 a tank in it.

You need to find a cheaper petrol station! I paid 134.9 for diesel yesterday. (Tesco's Gillingham)

It gets more expensive the closer you get get to the channel tunnel.  :undecided:

There are cheaper places but I'd have to go out of the way.

actually it goes for based on what they can get away with, if you live in a nice part of the world where income levels are generally high, fuels high, if you live in the midlands, it's cheaper!
