I would say the dip at the top end was a soft fuel limp, or the axis in the map software is incorrect and missed the calibration updates in the higher rpm.  I am sure a 10 min logging session will shed some light on what's going on.  This ain't an ecu I remap at the moment so cannot comment on the setpoint limiters. I would get it checked out

Was done by Paramount Performance in Slough, this was the first they had done and cost me 350+vat

I mean no offence to anyone.. but that speaks volumes to me.

I suppose it does look like a mountain range

True I was looking at wrong part for the stock graph..Trying to look at it via an I phone not a good idea Lol.  Now looking at the right tuned curve where it steps up I can see what's going on.

I mean can see whats going on the steps in the graphs. Could be boost oscillations as on the stock run the peak then could be where dip the ecu would switch to open loop to the dc% mapping, and the map has highlighted this and caused the oscillations.

This could go on for a while and I'm due to go on my hols on Thursday

IMHO I think the maps just fine and no amount of logging will sort the problem in that graph from what I can see - my graph looks very different but there is a good reason for that.

I'll give the answer to the issue when I return from my hols

If it aint down to the front wheels pulling out the rollers during a power run  and the stock map was smooth at the same points then it must be down the ecu requests causing the issues?

Call me old fashioned but I can't go on my hols leaving people in suspense.

If the car felt like the dyno looks then the OP would be far from happy, when he seems ecstatic with his remap.

IMHO

They've not set the dyno up correctly for a GTD hence the massive "squiggle" that clearly shouldn't be there on the end of the stock map run, this is also evident when the OP stated that the mapping company struggled with the traction control on his GTD which is never a problem on the golfs I've mapped.

The "twin peaks" are simply not there on either a standard or correctly modded GTD so I'm assuming the cars also either not strapped properly or it's further problems brought on by not setting the dyno correctly for the GTD.

I have no idea why they allowed a stock run that looked like that to go out on a graph.

(I'd still like to drive it though to make sure - anybody up for a 2p bet? )
