no bull mate, the thin is cleaner than yours, got it off an old boy who has loved it and cleaned it, think dan said it was up for about the 5k mark, he went down with cash and got it, drivers seat has little wear, it is supper clean, when i see him tuesday in my shop will get some picks if i remember to take my camera

Cant see it been cleaner than mine TBH, not unless the owner had the same issues as me  guessing not if theirs wear on drivers seat etc.. bet the engine is not as clean either 

jury is out till i see it and the service book and V5  if it does tie up that a good deal...

tough choice if you want to spend 5k on a golf imo. Considering you can get a mk4 1.8t for 10-20% of your budget, i'd be upset if i spent that much on a mk4, yet a mk5 would blow the budget by a long way.

s3, s4, cupra-R or vrs for me at that money i think
