getting a 2000 1.9 tdi passat with re map

hi am getting a 2000 1.9 tdi passat with re map, coilovers, polly bushed, good price have only hurd good things about these cars and the engine is ment to be bullet proff if looked after anyone have thought on these??

Main thing is to make sure the clutch is not slipping.

On a 2000 plate that's going to be a 110 or 115? 

What other work has been done as there's no way on this earth that a remap will be producing those figures

its a 130 on a x plate and it has a clutch with about 5000 miles on it, why do you say it will be slippin soon one of my freinds has the same done to his and has had no isues at all?/

Because the Passat's can't quite take the torque like the Golf's can.  Also 187bhp?? That sounds like the poor little turbo is being maxed out 

What mileage is the car on?

its got about 160k think the turbo has been uprated i know its quite new going to look at it at the the end of next week now due to work so will know more info then, i know it could have run more power but was tunned down a little bit as n ot to put to much pressure on everything

Double check the turbo has been fettled with; a standard one won't last very long running that amount of power unless its been mapped to feed the power in progressively

Passat's like to rumble their flywheel wheel if they run too much power lol
