hi people i have been offerd a swap for my beloved mk 4 gti for a 2001 bmw compact sport
1.8ti full mtec kit and its done 108000 miles can any one on here tell me if its a good thing or a bad thing
as i realy love my gti  :laugh:

They're not really any cheaper than a 3 series for a decent one. Though they're not that expensive , anyone who can afford one anyway isn't what I'd consider as poor.

Unless the golf is a non turbo Gti you will find the compact really bloody slow. If thats the case, dont do it, if however you have a 2l 8v notGti, make the swap!
