Had it a couple of days and im really enjoying it, its not meant to be like BLOPS and the like, more like a throw back to the original. If your looking for something fun and light hearted i can recommend,if your looking for something serious and involving this won't suite you.

My one big critiscism....LOAD TIMES...very frustrating each time you lose a life you have to wait 45 secs to a minute before you can get back into the action.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Its definately not a patch on serious sam for sheer run and gun or outright daftness, nor the original and its nothing like a COD/BF game. The best compliment I can give it is that it burnt up a few hours of my life and they werent too unpleasant lol. However, I would have been seriously miffed if I had paid for the game, the graphics are nothing at all to shout about (reasonably low spec PC but capable of running everything on full, think GTA 4 on really low graphics settings!), the SP campaign took about 9 hrs and it wouldnt be anywhere near that if there were not a few old school style find your way through puzzles and a random find a condom, popcorn and dildo thing in a strip club????, the bosses were far too simple to kill and it has far too many loading screens. For 12 years of development its definately not worth the money or anticipation (not that I was expecting much lol). I think if your a younger gamer who never played the original you would soon put it straight down unless you are the sort to get off on poorly rendered boobs.
