I know a 16v with trumpet removed and a few added holes doesn't drone, if you have head under the bonnet on tick over you can hear a humm from it, but other than that when you give it some it sounds great. So much so the tunes get turned down...

if you open up the airbox it has a trumpet inside it that the air travels in through, you'll know what we all mean if you open it up and remove the filter

i need a new air box as mine was butchered when i got it and the muppet actually drilled holes in the top of the airbox as well as the bottom :S

so im gonna upgrade the filter too... i have used pipercross panel filters in the past and have always been good, anyone else got any suggestions? i've always though k&n was just a name to sell cheap rubbish under...
[GOLF ./quote]DID A TEST FOR A MAG ON A ROLLING ROAD WITH 6 LEADING AIR FILTTERS RAM AIR CAME OUT BEST THAT WAS ON A 16V MK2.
