ko3 - ko3s swapage - how long???

been offered a ko3s but the catch is i gotta put my ko3 back onto his car (audi a3 agu)
how long would it take, as i think it will take about 2 days to do but i dont know if i can be bothered to do it!!!! i know it would be worth it but... LOOOONG!!!!!  :grin:


2000 GTI 1.8t ARZ, S2000 filter, DSG intake, Forge 007 dv, Catch can, R-tech custom remap, 3" Supersize Silicone TIP, Powerflex dog bone, 'The Beast' FMIC, Ultimate delete, LCR fuel pump, 3" Turbo back, K03 hybrid, Ported Manifold, S3 injectors, 80mm maf = 280bhp 270lbft :evil:

Wouldnt take two days mate!  check out the thread on uk mkivs,  if you had everything you needed for your k03s , gaskets, water lines etc etc, and it all went ok, could do both of them in a day easy!

if there 2 of you doing it it shouldnt take long... just remember to replace gaskets and coolant etc..

me on my own!!! oh did i mention the cars are about 10 miles appart!!!!  :huh:  :undecided:

will see how much all the gaskets and bits will be and then will think about it more!!!

With correct tools and ramp it could take as little as 4hours

ramp is the biggest help, it's a pain in the arse (literally) if you just have axle stands

Will it be worth the swap onto my ARZ engine????

What i need is them nxt to eachother and another set of ramps (yeah thars drive up on to ramps - 10" is enough??!  :grin: )
