Yeh to be honest you see these figures flying around 36, 40, 42, 25, but day to day driving and making it work a bit, your gna see mid twentys with a remap i think, R32 must be less than 20 to the gallon surely

Well, my MK5 average is around the 30 mark with motorway and town driving. Id expect to see an R with me driving to be around the 22-25 area (average of course).
IMO you getting 25 is pretty low (but thats another topic in itself).

Yeh true! maybe look at MAF! , First thing to do to the R would be exhaust flap mod! they sound so good!

i seem to remember at one of the r-tech rolling road days there was someone running around 272bhp with exhuast, remap and schrick cams. R32's can be tuned without a turbo and get high 200's but if you want to break the 300bhp mark then you need forced induction.
If your coming to the r-tech RR day on 19th june then there will be a mk4 r32 turbo on the rollers

I might just take the turbo off our tractor at home and put it on the Mk4 , gota see 650 bhp at least !

just make sure you dont tow the plough down as it wont fit on the rollers.
