Car won't start

Having a drama, my car won't staart, doesn't do it all the time, it will turn over but won't fire, but generally if left for 20 mins it will then start, anyone got any ideas?

Haven't checked either yet as normally it will then start and i am never in a position to check it when it does then when i would be in a position to check it it doesn't do it!!!!

yep, have tried 4 times now to start it, leaving half an hour each time but still no joy so thinking either something ignition related maybe.
I really need it to happen when i am at work and have all my tools, although i might sort out a few tools to go in the car for when it happens next time so i can check for spark, fuel etc.
