I have a satin silver golf mk 4 1.8t.its not dull its bright silver with a kind of blue pearl mixed in.tasty!

Have a look in your spare wheel well in the boot.should have a white label in there that tells you the paintcode of your car, mine is lb7z(reflex silver)just put yours into google and it will have various web pages that will tell you what your paint code is

Mines satin silver and i've had no problems with parts and colour match, got 2 rear doors complete in satin silver for £60 for the pair and the match was perfect. Once clean satin silver shines really nicely and even though mine is a 99 s plate it certainly doesnt look it

RESULT :

i go walking with the dog to a place called Hayburn Wyke just outside scarborough and was talking to the fella who runs it who also has a breakers yard.

Its only a small yard but he happens to have a golf.

Went to look today and its ....... a MK4 .......S reg.......Cam belt failure........Silver..........and LB7Z!!

front bumper is unmarked, needs the black bump strips painting (but can possibly remove them from my bumper) and the bonnet is also unmarked.

£50!

May have a look at the near side wing and see what condition its in as i may just take it for what he's gonna charge me for it!
