Drive shaft Bolts Sheared

Hello anyone had this problem My drivers side driveshaft bolts have sheared off in gearbox flange the driveshaft has separated and now need to get out the bolts, Any ideas

if you have any of the bolt sticking out of the flange you could get some irwin bolt grips on it or in the past i have managed to remove a snapped head bolt by hammering on a smaller socket then the bolt diameter

I've done this. I took my driveshaft off and wound it out with my finger.

If there is nothing to grab and depending on room available a stud extractor may do it. Drill a hole into the centre of the stud and wind in the extractor (various sizes in a set) as you do so it winds the stud out. Sets are quite cheap.

Cheers 4 the help bolts have snapped slightly inside so shall try undo with finger heres hoping but failing that shall get the stud extractor

id undo the driveshaft retaining nut on the hub pop the lower ball joint and track rod off so cn remoe the shaft over the shear bolts. then ether mole grip them out or if snaped flush with the drive flang id take the drive flang off and replace.

Just read Dannys idea and was wondering how the drive flange comes off, the driveshaft has come away from it and is loose

there is a center cap in it, then a circlip. twerk the circlip out and they usaly fly off, refitting needs clamps
