Best aftermarket air filter?

What is the best aftermarket air filter for a mk3 16v? Was looking at a pipercross panel filter? advice would be appreciated. :smiley:

Pipercross/K&N/Green/BMC...can't say there will be much between them really. It's not like any one will add anything...or any more than any of the others.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

panal filter and cold air feed best results for 8 valve there is a link on ere some ware for dyno results





 Any one in cornwall lets sort more meets!!!!

I thought a new standard paper filter gave better results on that dyno test?

This  ^^^ but changed regular + smoothed bottom section of air box

standard paper filter is better for about a week until it gets a bit clogged up. i have a pipercross panel filter. £30 and it does the job. slighlty louder than standard and a touch more torque
