Front and rear top mounts are worth replacing, also coat the coilovers in waxoil to help save the threads.

I'm not after super low, just 40 mm lower than standard and i am after quality. You may think I am mad but I am restoring this car to it's original form and replacing the original suspension was going to be 340 through a cheap vw parts company so I figured I would go for good quality coilovers to get as good comfort and much better ride.

if I was younger and had less back problems I would jom it up! I know the investment will be justified tho!

In that case why not fit a set of Koni shocks with Eibach springs.

That could be an option. Could you point me in the right direction for mk3 ones?
