if i were to go for one of the new vag 4 doors then itd be the skoda octavia, had a drive in one of them and loved it, loads of space, lots of little handy gadgets, looks great (the estate, imo) hated getting back into my car

but ive never driven or even seen inside a cc so cant compare

Love our 4Mo B5.5 wagon - so good for the kids.

TBH, it depends on your mindset, but if you want to go super-practical and amazingly easy to live with, don't discount the T6 Combi van, especially not with lots of options boxes ticked and the 2.0 bi-turbo 180bhp motor in it. 

They drive very, very well and you can get DSG and 4Mo too.

How about a Touran 2.0 tdi 170 PS with DSG ?
