indicator flashing too fast

Had a ding in my mk3 and smashed one indicator/fog light. I got some new ones off ebay but they are just indicators without the fog lights. when i dialed it all back in all indicators flash too fast. and ideas what is causing this?? also is it an mot failure if they flash fast? cheers

As Mart said above will be a bulb not working mine sometimes does it i just hit it then it works hahaha

What bulbs are in the front ,if its they are those low wattage ones they may not be drawing enough current therefore fast flashing as if theres a bulb gone

Bad earth somewhere ? Check the connectors to your rear lamps, and check the bulb holders in the lamps

I had this when I was tinkering with a set of clocks, it was because i'd soldered some led's in and inadvertently bridged a couple of the wires on the circuit board so it could be an issue with something shorting out on the clocks...although I doubt it

Check the wiring behind your bumper aswell
