Remap your GTI.  It turns it into a little corker, without overegging the FWD pudding.

Sold my GTI for an R32 and love it. Initially bought the GTi due to runing and road tax costs of R but after 10 months had to get one!

Depends what YOU want though. If you have it in your head that you want an Ed or an R then spending on mods will only delay your urge for a new car!
