Maybe the Monza's have Japanese fairy dust sprinkled on them that are now irradiated and banned

I agree with am1w, why mess with the recipe when it is perfect as it is? :undecided:

The new wheels aren't designed for the GTI and as such should never be used as an OEM option.

Yup, new 'Black Edition' A3's have those wheels as standard now, maybe they ordered too many? haha
There 18s, there is not a 19 option.

If they are based on the wheel on the concept 'golf R' car i posted there different to the Audi ones in spoke design, size, width,......

As for the Monza debait,
Funny how mk5 people are complaining theres a different option now.. When the mk6 first came out they complained it had the same wheels on and the forums were awash with people twisting about it, thread after thread post after post.. Just cannot please some people sometimes lol.

Then Mk6 people kept twisting that there is not a non monza option. Just no pleasing people

Yeah, but if the different option is sh!te, surely we can say that?

They should have added the GTI Adiddas Edition wheels as an option.

Really? Unless you are doing a track day why would you ever want to fully take it off? Be a bit mad to do that on public roads imo. I it came on the car then great but I wouldnt be going out of my way to get something like that put on my car, let alone pay for it.

ESP is a life saver and I want mine on all the time whether I am on a public road or on a track.

I agree, still be tempted to turn it off on a track though. Having said that my MK5 will never see a track.

And neither will my Mk6. Nutty thing to do IMO.

Retro alloys. Look like some after Market alloys I had on my MkIII Golf :(

Agree with the above. Audi styling too!

The adidas wheels would have been a nicer option to have on new GTI's. If they were available I think a few people would spec these instead of the monza's.

The Monza Shadows still rule for me and always will. The Adidarse wheels are nice but somehow I cannot abide with those strange distorted spokes.
