Have you arranged a private sale on her or p/x? If private any chance you would share the info with us.  I'm considering chopping Bonnie in for something else ie a Freelander 2 and wondered approx how much she is worth.

A Freelander are you joking.  :shocked:As long as it comes with good breakdown cover and you don't mind having it in the garage regular I suppose you will be happy . You certainly wont driving it after a GTI mate

Amanda:
The Freeklander 2 is just a vile looking car completely devoid of style. Just thinking about it makes me want to puke. Now, the Evoque is another matter and worth considering.
Apart from the Golf, the whole VW range of cars is as dull as ditch water.

I think most things in the VW stable look dull to be honest (Seat, Skoda and especially Audi). Audis all look the same - some are just bigger than others (with the obvious exceptions of the TT and the R8). Even the 4x4s are just bigger versions of the same car.
I'm not saying they're not good, just dull to look at.

The VW Golf Mk6 GTI 5 door is stylish, practical, fast, roomy, quiet, fun, desirable. No amount of accolades can do it justice IMO. It is an icon.

I chose it from a price range of cars between £20k to £60k. There is still nothing I would want to replace it with. Nothing comes close, even remotely.

And that is that. :smug:

^^^ sorry Neil the Bluetooth is staying put as part of the sale.

Amanda, it's being sold to a VW dealer, every non VW dealer wouldn't offer anything above the mileage adjust trade price, which was £17k

Chuffing heck only £17k, that's piss take money is that.  Oh well sorry everyone looks like Bonnie will have to stay a bit longer.

Amanda

If you do then first dibs on rear view camera and rear LEDs please!

If my GTI is worth £17k or less there's no way I shall be parting with her, but if I did/do I will let you know first Buck.
