im starting to wonder if someone is watching this forum :undecided:

I wouldn't be surprised! People should not disclose their exact location or show their plates for this very reason :undecided:

Thanks for the words of wisdom Dom but I can clearly see your number plate in your sig.

HAHA ! I was just about to say the same thing. I actually changed my exact location to something a bit more vague for this exact reason.

i dont think anyone is that desparate for a GTI.... that they would wonder into Croydon Alan!

I'm not bothered about people seeing my plate because I don't see many people wanting to steal it! It's not a desirable car, it's not worth very much, it's not fast and it's flipping uncomfortable! They'd get half a mile down the road and ditch it

Trust me, if I had a Mk5/Mk6 it's be hidden

Been to see the car today after they cleaned it,it's not in to bad a condition but still needs £5.000 worth of work, new wheels and tyres x 4,brakes disc and pads x 4 and minor paint repairs.
Golfgti build quality is average at best.

Its not stealing the car, its stealing the cars ID. Drive into a petrol station with a red mk3 and your plate and whap in £65 of fuel and then you have police knocking at your door.
