Do you know the mileage?
Maybe it was parked up and left the same day.

Can't see it affecting the warranty at all.

why change the plates ?,by the way if your car gets stolen with private plates on you can not use the plates for another year.

I roughly know the mileage,also i filled it with petrol the night before it was stolen

I was not suggesting private plates. Just ensure the car had not been used in a robbery. The police would be able to confirm or deny this.

I was not suggesting private plates. Just ensure the car had not been used in a robbery. The police would be able to confirm or deny this.

There is a good chance its been used for some sort of criminal activity,they are having alot of problems in the area it was found they have obviously taken to driving over to my area as its probably a soft touch.

To be honest mate it's very common for car thieves to park them up and wait to see if the car has a tracker fitted.  Hope it works out ok for you!

It may have been there a while and not reported straight away.


I suppose your insurance company will advise about keys. Replacements are not cheap.

They will have to change keys and locks and recode i should think being as they were both stole.
