Black Wing Mirrors?
« on: 21 April 2011, 07:21 »
After seeing my first White Golf R while on holiday, I have really fallen for the black wing mirrors. Drove by a GTI (red one) in Glasgow one day with them ang again thought they looked good but it was on quick look I got. What do people think? Also does anyone know how to remove the wing mirror casing?

I have one black door mirror... it looks ok from a distance

...as for getting it off... you could always slide into a barrier like I did, but its not advised.

Morning Kenny

Yep I like the look of gloss black wing mirrors especially on a white car. I'm tempted to get them painted on my car as I've got the black detroit wheels fitted and so the black wing mirrors would finish the car of nicely.

White cars were a no-no as they always looked cheapo-chav transports especially with black door mirror housings. True. It's now gone full circle .......... but not for long. Thank Heaven.  :smug:

Ahem. Those of us with black cars have black mirrors. It's flattering to see that everyone wants black mirrors because they bought the wrong colour....  Resprays are pricey after all...
