Think that may be down to fitment rather than the actual wheel design really...

A spacer or bit more dish at the back to get it flush with the arch and it would be awesome.

Hi,

I went for an easy fit. My car runs the std arches woth no mods at all, I have to use the back seats  the car is my familly daily driver so I went for the simple ET35 all round with 195/45's rear and 185/50's front.

The mk1 in the pic's runs ET19 front and ET15 rear with 195/40's all round so its a bit more of a tight fit. Think the best way would be to have 175's front with the 195/40's rear with the staggered offset and run it lots lower then they would look really good.

The wheels themselves are manufactured from ET15 to 35 in 4 or 5 lug so can be supplied as a staggered fittment without spacers if thats what you want.

Also the design software we use is Solidworks with the add in Photoworks package.

Hope this helps
Chris

Hey Chris, good to see you on here, been following the thread on e38 for ages.

I think the 16" RA a likes will be crazy popular.

How does the whole copyright type stuff work when those are so clearly a originally a BBS design?

Nearly forgot...

these are comming out in the next few weeks (delayed from earlier in the year) as an 8j and 7j x 13" with more sizes to follow

And it was these that caused the delay...... the 8j x 15" is cast and ready to be machined, painted and delivered with the 7 and 9" coming along straight after

these are historic porsche 911 rsr race wheels but can be supplied to suit many other applications'

7"

8"

and the 9" The PAG-1590

So what did you think?

Hi,

Firstly thank you for the feedback, its all welcome valued, important, good and bad.

The Concept P wheel has been introduced by Venom Motorsport, the whole point of it to be an exclusive desirable wheel that is not intended to sell in massive numbers as it is only intended to be a limited production run. The first batch is out there now and this is just 15 sets, yes the plan is to sell more than that or it simply isn't worth doing but to give it some perspective Compomotive who are a relatively small wheel manufacturer produced in the region of 30,000 wheels last year.

Best regards
Chris

Hi,

Good question, The wheel obviously CAN NOT be marketed labeled or sold as a BBS product as it quite simply is not. The style of the wheel is inspired by the old BBS RA which was never manufactured as an 8.0j x 16", as long as the wheel is not an exact copy in every detail then the product is a new design in its own right.

you could be correct mate

they deffo suit the MK1 more tho

Yes....... Yes they do and I think that particular version would be even better on a different or more OEM colour car, say Black or White!  They'd look ace on mine although i'm now very drawn to

because of

i would love those last wheels on the red gti if you could make them more like zender turbos ie with a vented centre cap  in 4x100 and 15in to fit a mk1 golf
i still think zender turbos are the ultimate mk1 wheel

also loving
