they won't have reground the cranck if they did it on a ramp.   cranck needs to come out the engine for a regrind   if it's ate another set of sheels quickly it prably beacuse they didn't clean the journals up before fitting the shells or they did clean them up but didn't bother to check them for size and fitted new shells to overly work journals   so it probaly needed to come out for a regrind  or you can replace the cranck  tho you may need to have the replacement cranck ground.

And you worked at tsr?? Shells have to go in a certain way round for oil to get in, and the notch has to be in the right place to stop them turning. Unless you're being sarcastic of course....

or you can put them in upside down as in plain shell in the block and the with with the oil hole in the bearing cap.

seen that done before

And you worked at tsr?? Shells have to go in a certain way round for oil to get in, and the notch has to be in the right place to stop them turning. Unless you're being sarcastic of course....

I was, I know it can be done and have seen it done, just wondered how a garage could get it wrong.
