Well minor update....... but as it's getting the front suspension bushes and the dodgy driveshaft sorted next week all looks good (plus a sticky handbrake/caliper!)

here's a bit of retro styling to hide some imperfections on the front

maybe not everyone's taste....but until I find a different front bumper it's hiding things well!! And the wife hates them so thats an added bonus

Oh and a new suspension kit will be making it's way to me very shortly (either fk ak coilovers or an fk shock/spring kit?)

Projects for autumn?
Re varnish the wood inside with ebony stain stuff (black)
new alloys (17's maybe??)
fit new brakes all round (312mm would be nice!)
Re-map (once the suspension can cope with the power!! It stuggles with 150!)

Well I had a few ££ spare and spent it on the car!

I'm not 100% happy with the grille fitment but I will be making it fit better next week (bending it so it fits!! and yes it's a proper Kamei!)

and Finally...My new suspension is here, a simple 55/40 FK kit (gas shocks and springs) so It will be going down next week! Hopefully it will be better ride than coilovers?

New lows with a full 55/40 fk suspension kit

It catches few speed humps and is firmer but it handles much better and doesn't squat under acceleration

Nah, you won't find a RWD VW bar the Nardo or something air-cooled.

they say 30% for the kit.... and although it's firm it's better than coilovers (I guess I'm comparing to se soggy suspension too!)
