I think I would concur with that.
As I don't have the luxury of a hired car provided by my stingy unappreciative bastard employers

But I do know of several people who use forums regularly who have gone along those lines with no issues.
If you're going to worry unduly then don't do it, it's not worth losing loads of sleep over. But if you're confident enough in what you're doing just go for it. You won't get any money back at the end of the lease so you just have to think of it as £500 invested in a bit of fun for 3 years. No different to paying membership to a Golf club or gym or something.
