Does having a sub-woofer under the seat have any effect on passengers' sphincters, or female whatnots?

Nice net by the way, much better than an Aldi one in a Picasso.......

Thanks Kenny.
In reality, these units are much more discreet than the pictures represent. The sub-woofer is just wonderful and produces really deep, clean and balanced bass.
The amplifier is the smallest available from my searches and is rated at 4x120 Watts RMS. Compare this with 4x20 Watts RMS of the RNS510. Additionaly, the improvement in sound quality is quite amazing across the whole frequency spectrum.
The sound has wowed everyone who has heard the system. Worth it and simply love it!

Sorry to disappoint you Andy. The system provides emotional but not diametric enhancement.

Looks great, nice a discreet. I assume when a normal height person is on the seat the sub doesn't stick out at all?

Like the net, I've got the VW rubber mat thing which is great at keeping mud off the carpets after a round of golf.

Is that net an original VW net? If it is how much it it?

Cheers,

Jim

The sub-woofer is really discreet and you can't see it even with the seat right back. I had to perform a few acrobatics to take the pictures.

The luggage net is a VW genuine part and I find it hugely useful. It is so well made that no amount of stretching deforms it when it is 'not in the use position' as you can see from the picture. Worth it IMO. This is the item that has badly affected the attitude of many of the members on the other forums. I've included it here to help them on their way.

Neat solution - does the sub just sit there or is it fixed down in some way?

quinnii:
The head unit is the LED RNS510*. As it had such a horrible sound, I had retro-fit the amp and sub. Factory ordering the Dynaudio would have turned out much cheaper. However, I feel a sub would still be a useful addition.

mac7:
The amplifier is screwed down only into the carpet and not into the metal. As it gets hot, double sided sticky tape could not be used as this tends to melt.
The sub-woofer is very, very securely fixed to the carpet with double-sided sticky tape. No heat issues here so such tape could be used. The sub-woofer remote control is secured to the sub's rear face under the seat with sticky tape. Can be easily pulled out for minor bass boost and cut-off frequency adjustments.
