Brake reservoir to clutch cylinder pipe

Does anyone know where I could get the pipe that runs from the brake reservoir to the clutch cylinder on the 16v mk3? I've been searching around and have found info on a part number
857 721 453
but am unsure if its the right part as I'm converting my 8v so I dont know what its supposed to look like or anything?
The part 857 721 453 is supplied 350mm and has to be cut dont to 170mm (apparently) so I'm guessing it has a connecter on one end that pushes in(?) to the clutch cylinder behind the pedal and the other end is just held on with a jubilee clip to the reservoir. Is this correct? And is this the right part
Cheers

its just a length of pipe, nothing special. main thing is does your brake fluid reservoir have the nipple on there for it, if not you'll need that too. most mk3s have it but capped off, you trim the blank off the end and fit your pipe

yeah i got the nipple
Does it just push into the slave cylinder then? doesnt look like it would be secure enough, maybe I have a bit missing, it has 2 holes one with a thread for the pipe to the master, and one with a black ring round it. is that right?

i would use a jubilee both ends to be safe, i assume it does as std.
the black ring could that be a bit of the old pipe?

It looks like its supposed to be there, not sure how to fasten it and it doesnt fit over anything so it could be held with a jubilee clip, it would need to be pushed in which is why i thought it would have some kind of thing on the end to hold it in.
I cant get a pic atm as the parts over at my dads but i'll try and get one up tomorrow to show u what i mean
