right was trying to sell my golf no takers so i have desided to keep it i have bought a debaged grill crystal side repeters vr6 spilter no im looking to get some coilovers are the jom ones anygood while i save for good one  i have ordered new top mounts from here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/tierod69?_trksid=p4340.l2563 heard good things from people about him
 justwanting to know if anyone has used the jom coilovers or is there any better ones around the same price

They are ok for the money however I have heard Jamex ones are better.

They are still cheap coilovers at the end of the day.

yeah i know there cheap but just have not got the cash for the better ones and all my shocks need changing

Unless you need or want to go really low why not go for a set of quality springs and shocks.

yeah that is a good piont i dont wanna go stupidly low as i have to many speed bumps around here

So then if you were going for springs and shocks instead of coilovers what would guys on here recommend?

Im a big fan of springs and shocks! Ive gone 40mm on mine. Better quality ride than cheap coilies and still useable on a daily basis!
