dare i say it needs to go lower on the front tho..
I agree completely Mr Mint I've actually had to raise it 10mm all round as the 1st time I took it down my road I realised I couldn't get over the mahoosive speedbump at the end.
Cue me rushing home to lift it so I could go out in it.
However.I'm currently in the process of pricing stuff up to make it go up and down for practicality.
The engine comes 1st though and unfortunatly potter is currently being used as the daily as I have the pistons on my bench for her car as I'm re ringing it and reconditioning the head.
Then I will be back on the 3.0 lump whilst considering which,if any air ride kit I'm getting.

Yeah it does look as if the rears are tucking slightly more than the fronts but I'm totally with you on the practicality front of things. Looks really good anyway and the wheels have really grown on me and work well with the rest of the styling you've gone for. Top marks mate.

Thanks mate.yeah I'm seriously considering air just for practicality. Not too fussed about chassis notching etc but i might do it while I've got the welder out smoothing the bay etc.
I will be getting different wheels and I'm already planningnon changing the rear bumper and sorting the front end a bit but it's all after the enginebis sorted as that will be my favourite part of the build.
Just hot to finish rebuilding the engine on her car next week and then I'm back on it

The Borbets really suit it and are something different.

I won't be getting rid of them but I'd prefer them in a 17 with maybe 8j as they dish a little more
Still loving the Aeromax infact I've already got a price for coating the new front subframe and a spare axle

by looks of it you have same exhuast as me have you had any problems trying to get i to hang level with the bumper? ive had 3 attempts and cant get mine to sit right, all is good untill i put the last rubber on near the rear beam.

Cheers Rich.
Yeah the exhaust is a power flow one straight through from the cat.
It did hang 20mm low on the right hand side no matter how I fitted it,so I fabricated a new bracket using the original mounting points on the rear hanger.
It was perfect for week of use on the road but now with or catching on the speedbump at the end oft drive every day it's now dripped 5mm again in the right which is bugging the crap out of me so I will sort it this week coming.
I don't want to spend too much time on it though as the whole system needs replacing for a 3" system when the new engine goes in.

Just a little update.Poor old Potter has been used as the daily for a few weeks now.Running an absolute treat too.
Just got her car back on the road so i treated the mk3 to a new MOMO Race steering wheel and Momo snap off boss.
Also got round to fitting the G23 Engineering cnc machined keyring.Gave it a polish up naturally lol.
I also bought some new bumper indicator/fogs.I never took a pic as they are exactly the same as the others but mine had a tiny bit of condensation in them which bugged me.
Ive also started collating a few bits from work for the air ride should it happen, and now the womans car is done i can start on my vr6 lump!Wahay
