Would you trust a bit of £12 gear to keep your engine in time and to take the stress's it needs to at 6000RPM?

Go to gsf and get a decent one

So gsf ones are ok? I've got one from there with adjuster and stud, not fitted yet cos wanted to check they are ok?

Yep fine  I still prefer genuine myself however.

On a Picasso it dont really matter!

It will be having a genuine kit when it is due in 2012

go buy a gates from your local motor factor.......half the price of vw so why buy genuine? vw buy them from a variety of suppliers so is genuine any different to any known brand?

(can I ask does anyone here buy beru ignition parts from ecp? they are one's of vw's largest o.e supplier)

I would of gone to vw myself  :lipsrsealed:

can I ask did they fall apart when you touched them or have they failed yet or are they identical to vw o.e stuff?
I worked in the main dealer and aftermarket area's for a few years and I still can't understand why people still prefer dealer parts........Last time It was a main bosch agent and the local vw place even bought parts from us! (and sold them on for a good profit margin too!)

That is different buying Beru from ecp is fine as is Bosch from a Bosch agent.
