I think the front of the GTI could be vastly improved with that little 'lip' at the bottom of the front bumper to be vinyled or painted?

Im speaking to a friend of mine about getting a carbon fibre one made up  :drool:

Does anyone know if the lips part of the bumper or does it come off?

My cars in the garage so i cant get up there to look!  :grin:

I think they come off mate, from cleaning my mum's car, there's always crap stuck in there that gets washed out by the hosepipe :)

Yer i think your right, just had a quick search on the net and the us spec gti's don't have the splitter so it must be separate  :rolleyes:

Il get it off tonight and get it up to my mate so he can start making a mould.

Ahhhhh I see!

Thanks for the link, it's coming off tonight so I can decide what to do with it.

Can't decide wether to go for a carbon fibre replacement or vinyl it so its the same colour as the shiny bit in the grill?

Any ideas?

Yer i like the idea of the glossy black, people have ruined carbon for me a bit after seeing so much of that Di-Noc vinyl stuff!  :sick:
