isn't the temp on the side of the head for oil pressure or was that only with 8v engines?

your fan should come on before it gets to 100?C anyway. is the radiator scalding hot too?

Coolant temp can reach over 100, thats why its not just water in the system, the coolant actually raises the boiling point.

Coolant temp can reach over 100, thats why its not just water in the system, the coolant actually raises the boiling point.

so does pressure, if you get the pressure high enough then 130c water is possible.
gas is gas due to the intermolecular forces and energy given to the system and energy opposing the system, conversely in a low enough partial vacumn you could reduce the boiling point of water aswell.
when i read this i was thinking of silent running with the sad ending, never seen cool running.

  cant believe youve never seen cool runnings!! shame on you!!

are you sure your running the right temp sender?? it should be stamped on the ssender itself you need one that goes to 120degrees. if you have one for 100 degrees then it will make look as if your car is running hotter than it is!!

the reason i think this is the oil temp is normal!
