Yokohama Parada Spec 2's are a very good tyre! No idea if they do them in the ocrrect size for a mk6 though, i had some 205/40/17 ones and now have some 15" versions on my civic.

dunlop/goodyear are the same company.
pirelli i would stay away from personally
continental is all i ever run on my motor great tyre all round maybe wont get the same wear tho
michelin you get for what you pay for the best milage and tyre by far but there much more expensive
if you were going for goodyear i would go for f1
NOT NOW CHIEF I'M IN THE f**kING ZONE

Yes, in the same way Skoda and Audi are the same company, but which would you rather have? Dunlop are the lesser version of Goodyear.

I just had 2 new rear tyres put on my Mark VI - Pirelli P Zeros - and the ones that came off were the original Dunlops from factory fit - 40,300 miles ago. WOW!!!!!!!!!

Mind you - the tread was down to 1mm on the inside (woops)  :embarassed:

Still 4mm in centre and outside though!

Interestingly, the fronts were replaced at 21,000 miles with GoodYears and they are wearing well.

Views on Dunlop v Goodyear v Pirelli?

Quote from the tyre fitter at Kwik Fit after putting the Pirelli's on.............."They're great tyres with fantastic grip but they're a softer compound than anything else on the market so you'll probably wear them out faster than the Goodyears or Dunlops"  :undecided:
