DX Head Service
« on: 21 February 2011, 15:10 »
I am looking to remove my cylinder head to remove some stubborn colletts and looking for some advice whilst the head is out on work to be carried out.

Does anyone have a link to a set or info on the seals I need etc. I know my head is early anf has solid lifters not the hydraulic ones.

I was thinking:

Valve stem seals
Colletts
De carbon

Grind valves? ( How much roughly? )

Cheers

Might also be worth replacing the valve guides as well.

Another option would be to pick up a hydraulic head.
