Car has developed a new noise, intermittent, sounds like a stone stuck behind the disk and the metal guard?
At first, in all honesty, I thought they was a mouse trying to get out of the engine bay against the firewall, then it comes on quite loud when going round corners from passenger side front wheel, dealer's looking at it on Friday

Common problem, Just wiggle the plate behind the disc and a stone will fall out and it will be back to normal. Just make sure the disc is not HOT before going near it though

Tried that Snoops, nothing came out? Hope its not the bearing or anything

Sometimes it gets really  stuck. Its normally the back ones as theres a lip near the edge of the disc. The stone gets in behind it and rubs on the disc. It took some getting mine out the last time it happened. I had to keep pushing/bending slightly, move car forward/backward until it cleared it.

Hmmm, well I'll have another look, if I can't get it sorted, it's in on Friday anyway for a squeaky belt and the wipers banging on the window frame
