All the parts of the lower end coilovers are manufactured from the same spec material, probably by the same manufacturers then distributed to Jamex, Jom, HotTuning etc for assembly.
For £160 with a 3 year warranty and delivered to your door you would be silly not to go coilovers, you have the option to raise/lower the car until you are happy with it.
I dont doubt that shock/spring set is a better produced option, but for a daily, coilovers all the way

Just an example of certain manufacturers using the same equipment, Ginetta cars use NON oem Ford track rod ends for some of their cars FACT

Some people seem to have no issues with the cheaper coilovers however mine was not level, they were noisy plus way too hard for day to day use.

I would never use them again.

I know they're cheap and give you the flexibility to change the ride height but i simply can't understand why you'd deliberately want to ruin all remaining comfort and jeopardise the the cars safety by fitting inferior components. The amount of threads ive read on various websites about people moaning how their car skips down the road or struts have snapped or collapsed is ridiculous.
At the end of the day the suspension is a major part of the vehicle so why compromise for the sake of getting a few extra ''scene points'' and saving a few quid?

I dont fit inferior components to my car neither do I fit coilovers cause I want to be in the scene.I use my car daily 120 to 160 miles a week sometimes more and nothing has every snapped off it and it dont skip down the road.

Yep, hence why I would never use them again, very bouncy with no comfort at all.

They suffer from mixed quality going by some threads I have seen on them.
