WATER
« on: 12 February 2011, 23:20 »
A friend of mine has a MK4 GTi and there is a puddle of water on her passenger side rear footwell. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what was the cause?
I checked the rubber bung underneath and that looks fine, I even put a load of silicone around it to make sure but it hasn't helped! lol
There are no holes underneath either, infact it is bloody clean under there!
The rear washer pipe was leaking, so that has now been replaced by VW, so that shouldn't be the problem.
Any advise would be great!

Check the plenum drains.
