Small update:

My boost and oil pressure gauge turned up today



I already have a pillar mount from the old mk3 but don't really want them there so I think i will make a holder for them but there go on the piller for now

Finished fitting the engine mounts today (wow what a pain in the ass they are)

Fitted the oil pressure gauge & boost gauge (forgot to take a pic)

Also fitted the new oil cooler, header tank, crack pipe, thermostat and housing

Also did a full service all gen parts and gearbox oil

And also used a polo drain bolt as the vr6 one got damaged on a speed bump so a flush fitted one should stop that happening again

Small update:

Got around of taking a photo of the gauges and the didi dials




Also gave the car a wash and a hd wax ready for Combe tomorrow (big thanks to rob_g60 for the help)
