hi guys ive got a 93 gti 8v     what wheels will fit   other than vw ones

Depends on your budget and what you have in mind, a lot of wheels can be made to fit with adaptors and/or arch work. There aren't a vast amount of wheels that will fit straight on.

Assuming you still have standard wheels on, they will be 5x100, 6.5J and probably ET42

No worries, just a little advice: If it were me i'd go no bigger than 16", 17's ruin the ride a bit, plus you won't be able to lower it much; 16's are a good compromise between looks and ride. Also if your getting wheels that need adaptors (e.g. Merc or Porsche) make sure you look for a high offset to allow for the adaptors as they will be at least 15-20mm :smiley:

A bit more info for you Scooby wheels will not fit, offset is all wrong plus bolt holes need machining out.

i need to change the springs first the last owner cut the springs and its nearly touching the floor and the ride is absolutely crap   so if anyones got a standard set of springs let me know please
