It is with great regret that today, she sold.  Czech guy with a very nice family bought it via Gumtree for £850.

Anyway, hopefully going to see the new toy tomorrow, updates as and when!

I'd better hurry up though as I'm now rocking in a proper scruffy 1.4 306! Got it for £150 with 7 months MOT and 8 Months tax though so bit of a bargain tbh. It had an idle issue, thought it was probs the stepper motor until I noticed that one of the oil breather hoses was split in half with some phase tape trying and failing to hold it together! A bit of fuel pipe and some amalgamating tape and it now runs sweet! Sweeeeet!

Gotta wait until tomorrow before I can go and see the possible new project. Wont be ready until at least monday though if I decide to get it, as he has the rear coilies off to copper slip em up. Its on standard shocks atm so at least I will get an idea. Will report back with some pics if all goes well and he accepts my offer.

You lot should read different sections of this forum!  I've been asking a few Q's.

Ok, I wont leave u in suspense any longer. Wherry, can I pleeeeeeease stay on here, its not a VR.

Didnt even attempt to ask what the insurance would be on a VR tbh, I didnt want to embarrass myself! As it is, this will be only four quid a month more. Has a couple of issues, but the seller SEEMS genuine. Apparantly its very good, without being absolutely perfect. Came 5th in the show and shine at the VW Jamboree in Newquay in the summer. Tbf, I dont care what you all think , I've fallen in love with it without even seeing it, and just hope he accepts my best offer should it turn out to be as described.
Not much info on the ad, but I've spoken to him a few times on the phone.

So here it is.
