Lil bit of heat, take your time and you'll find it pretty easy. Once you done that you'll be feeling confident and you can go mental with the 3m carbon fibre stuff inside

Its been hammering it down all day and I wanted to do something with my car so I gave the engine bay a bit of a clean, its nothing special but it seems to spruce up okay! At least I havent got a turbo cluttering it up   Think I might like to buy some red hoses or summat, never done anything like that though, where do I get em from?

Oh, new airbox and panel filter before that though.

Just fitted a pipercross panel filter and an unbroken airbox, it seems to pick up from the low revs quicker. I've always preferred panel filters to induction kits.

Also, I wouldnt mind a cold air feed but havent done it before, where do I get the bits from??

Can you get replacement lower front bumper vents that a feed would attach to for the mk4?

Contact Bored-Welsh-Lad, he was selling mk3 & 4 lower bumper vents made by Hofele. Ive got them on my mk3 and they're very good quality and you can attach a 3'' cold air intake to them quite nicely.

Bit of good news today.

Just been round my girlfriends parents house for a BBQ and her brother who is moving house says

'Craig, do you want a set of recaro seats for your golf? £20 and you can have em'.

Sweet! It turns out that theyre in his garage not being used and that me taking them off his hands is doing him a favour cos he hasnt got to move them to his new house!

Picking them up on Wednesday, pics to follow!
