in my eyes its letting hot air in compared to closed air box but i have no issues, might find a heat shield and put round it

have these cones been oiled okay? i mean is it oiled so badly that it is going to make my MAF die?

put mine in GenClean to remove all the oil prior to fitting.

KnN are apparently oiled but i fitted my typhoon induction kit without cleaning at all and it never f**ked my car up in the year i had it so..

did you bother with that silly little secondary cone thing? if so, what did you do with it? and if you didnt, what did you do with the hole?
