thanks for all the replys folks :)
still not sure weather to go for coilies or shocks/springs ? I know everyone says to avoid cheaper coils but lookin at these FK kits they look ok
Thing is i dont wanna buy springs then find that its too low or too high so reckon im gonna have a stab at the FK coils : )
Roll on next week when funds allow, thanks again folks been a big help as always .

you,ll be fine with the fk coilies mate or jamex which i run had no problems

ive got AP coilies, not sure how much they are to buy as they came on the car, but ride is all good. as with any lowered car with firmer shocks and springs you'll always find it a harsher ride than a standard car, especially on the bumpier roads/lanes, and the fact that the MK4 - for a gti, was an incredibly soft ride, and on standard shocks springs and wheels quite poor for handling  :smiley:
