Mk4 Dash panels, I cant figure out how they fit together.

Hi,
   I recently purchased a mk4 dash (says it's a GTI one), it came in several pieces but I'm having a nightmarish time trying to put the pieces together to form a dash, so I'm hoping you may be able to advise me as to what goes where.

Here is a picture of the dash as it stands right now (the black boxes are panels I was able to figure out):

And here are the pieces I got with it, that I can't figure out where they go, apparently one of them is the glove box but to my mind a glove box should have a lid, anyway:

Any help would be appreciated because despite looking at various pictures of golf mk4 dashboards on the internet, none of the pieces seem to look right.

I think you haven't got all mk4 bits. that big part in the second pic is nothing like under the mk4 dash. You haven't got a glovebox either.

the big bit in second pic looks like is for under steering wheel.

your missing a lot of parts for the radio

why you buy a new dash?

two bits on the right are for under the steering wheel, two smaller bits look like they could be the sides of the radio columb.
not sure about the part on the left as cant really see it.
but as said parts are missing, not radio trim, no heater controlls trim, no cup holder, no glove box.

I think you haven't got all mk4 bits. that big part in the second pic is nothing like under the mk4 dash.

i would say its out of a different VAG maybe a mk5 as it looks very similar to that part, lupo etc

i'd say find the person you bought the parts from and put a horses head in his bed while he sleep's. :grin:you must have been skanked there or some has soldyou the world hardest jigsaw instead of a mk4 dash.

At least that's something, I thought I was being incredibly dense  I knew it didn't come with the centre console, but it definately said it comes with the glovebox.

I should have cropped that, it's a corner of the dashboard itself.

I never did like jigsaws 

The seller has a very good rep on ebay, so i've contacted them to ask if there was a mistake and I got the wrong item sent to me. Just waiting on a response.

Edit: The response was an apology over not sending the glovebox, and that they threw in panels which may be from other areas of the car to be on the safe side - they'll have a look round and include anything else along with the glovebox they may have forgotten.
