I rate greenstuff very low! They are really bad cold. They are however good when warm, but when they get hot they are sh!t!
My abs packed up and I had grooved disc's with greenstuff up front and standard on the rear. and when I braked semi hard cold the rears locked up. and you have to brake hard when cold because the car won't stop if you don't lol I won't be buying them again.

If you drive hard and brake alto don't get them I heard redstuff work when hot. Greenstuff are just to stop your wheels getting dirty.

I didn't notice any difference with the Greenstuff pads at all. Yes they dont release as much brake dust so that I rate highly.

I clean my car regularly so brake dust isn't a problem. That was my opinion on them you don't have to take it.

Okay

They are no better at breaking than standard pads for twice as much in my opinion. Redstuff is the one to go for, but be warned don't keep em cold.

Ferodo ds2500 are an excellent choice. I've heard lots of bad things about the greenstuff pads.

I was thinking Ferodo's pads with VW disks, Good choice?

Ferodo pads are expensive last time I looked, I think about £80 for a front set.

Redstuff?
The worst pads I've ever tried...I took them out as they were dismal...utterly dismal cold, warm or hot.

BD Predator weren't much better.

I did lots of road and track miles on Greenstuffs with no issues.

But, as has been said...Ferodo DS2500s are in a different league.
Or Mintex M1144/M1155s.

I also have some Mintex Racing F4R Tarmac Rally pads...the pukka competition stuff. If they get wet it takes you a week to clay-bar the crud off the side of the car...and they squeal like a pig..
But you cannot stop facter unless you hit a wall.
Utterly insane.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

How much do the Mintex M1144 pads sell for roughly?
