They tried to break in and take mine, but I heard them, and they did one. Police advised not to take keys to bed, as they will come looking for them. Decision then between family or Mark 6 GTI. I love my car, but I can get a new one. Hope they get caught and hands cut off. As usual you work hard to have something nice, and those who dont think they can just take it. I think the reason why GTI's are stolen, is because if they do a bank job then they know it wont let them down in the getaway.

Terrible news, they should cut their bloody hands off! If mine got taken in similar circumstances I'm not sure I would replace it either.

I'm so sorry for your loss, main thing to take from this is that you and yours are all well, you can replace a car any time

 My sympathy friend. Its the biggest fear of owning a beatiful car. It helps a little knowing you have the GAP insurance. Hope all works out and best of luck!

My advise is to leave your keys down stairs where they can find them. Last thing you want once they have got in is to have them confronting you for the keys. Again thanks for all kind words. Worst part about it is being stranded without a car.
