Cabelt slipping off? - PIC ADDED

My belt also sits like that, as did my last golfs.
Have a look inside the cover to see if there's a mark where the belts been rubbing against it.

Will do i thought the smell maybe could just be the belt bedding in but i've never had it happen before that's why i hit paranoid mode, if he says it's not going to break then i suppose he's right but i'll stil be cautious and keep a nose out for the smell.

Does the tensioner come with the cambelt kit from vw dealer or is it a seperate purchase?

To my knowledge i think theres two kit's 1 with and 1 without?
